In Plain Sight is two years old!
As a “Bible Geek,” this Substack has afforded me the opportunity to communicate a bit of what I have learned and am learning as I study God’s word.
I only wish I had the capacity to do much more.
Alas, Revelation has been all the challenge I can keep up with for the moment.
You’ve probably noticed an accordion like approach to the frequency.
Sometimes life has intervened, sometimes getting the words down just right have taken longer than I thought.
Nonetheless, we are making steady progress through Revelation.

In Plain Sight is a subscriber supported publication. If you appreciate the content and insights of this Substack, please consider a paid subscription. Subscribers receive additional material at the end of most posts with more subscriber only material to come.
I am grateful for all of you! Having an outlet with a group of people who want to know more about the Bible is a true joy. Though I don’t live for the likes or comments they are very welcome.
Just a couple of statistics: IPS now has over 150 subscribers and over 20 paid subscribers (more of the latter is always appreciated).
In this third year, my tentative plans are as follows:
1. Continue through Revelation with a post every week or two.
2. I have made the audio version available to all subscribers and will continue to do so.
3. In addition to Observations on the Greek Text of Revelation in the paid subscribers section, I plan to add information about other historical interpretations of Revelation as I see fit (at least for the seals this will be almost every post!).
4. I’ve got some other ideas about Greek, Hebrew, and other books of the Bible for other categories besides Revelation, but that will depend on my energy! (And speaking of energy, please pray for my health as I go through some cardio tests).
5. Occasionally I will produce travel posts like the trip to Israel in 2023.

Once again, thanks for joining, praying for me, and supporting me as able.
Please let me know what you think about In Plain Sight overall.
I love suggestions for improvement.
Keep up the good work. I love it and for the first time in my life, I'm getting an in-depth study of Revelation. Thank you.
